LANDER - Ronald OBE After a short illness, Ron passed away peacefully, aged 82, on 6th August 2024. Beloved husband of Liz, father of Nick and the late Jonathan, grandfather of Matthew, Lauren, Lily, Alex and Madeleine and brother of Rosalind, Ann, Katy, Suzanne and the late David. Funeral at The Hurlet Crematorium on 26th August 2024 at 4pm, to celebrate his life.Tributes

Deepest sympathy to you and the family. I remember how kind and helpful Ron was in my Kilmacolm days and then later at Glasgow Academy. I was so sad to hear about Jonathan- such a gifted person.

I hold many fond memories working and travelling with Ron. He was blessed with an abundance of contagious social energy. He was at his best when front and centre of people, radiating inspiration.
Memories replace death. Ron lives on in our beautiful store of the good times.
