SOMMERVILLE - George Peacefully on 24th July 2024 , at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary, George Sommerville, formerly of North Corbelly, New Abbey. Beloved husband of Mary Drennan, cherished father of Robert and Irene, loved father-in-law of Dennise and Dougie, and proud grandfather of Rachel, Ross and Holly. He was a caring brother, uncle, neighbour and friend to all. The funeral service will be on Monday 5th August at 11am at New Abbey Parish Church, to which family and friends are invited to attend. Family flowers only please. Donations to British Heart Foundation and Myeloma UK.
