ALEXANDER William (Bill) OBE C Eng Suddenly on 24th June 2024 at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, Dumfries in his 89th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Eleanor for 65 years. Dearly loved father, grandfather, father-in-law and friend to many. Following a private cremation a Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate his life will be held at Upper Annandale Parish Church, Moffat on Monday 15th July 2024 at 2pm, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please.

Sad to hear that Bill has passed on. Often think of Bill and Eleanor when stopping for lunch in Moffat en route to my daughter's house outside Dumfries. I was very fond of Bill.
