CHRISTIE - Norman (Norrie) Suddenly, but peacefully, at home on Wednesday 20th March 2024, aged 82. Cherished husband of Karen. Much-loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and cousin. A dear friend and colleague. Funeral service, to which all who knew Norrie are welcome, at Glasgow Crematorium, 19 Tresta Road, Maryhill, Glasgow, G23 5AA, on Thursday, 4th April at 2.15pm.Tributes

Hello Karen,
I was saddened to see Norries death in the paper earlier.
I know you have had a difficult time over the past few years, at least Norrie is at rest now and you will be able to reflect on the happier , fun times you had in the past.
I remember you both as always being full of fun and adventure, and a song and a dance be it Heuchter Cheucter or tap dancing!
I had hoped to come on Thursday, however I have a ghastly chest infection, so better stay at home.
I hope we can meet up for a coffee one day soon, as you will have more time for such luxuries now.
I’ll be thinking of you tomorrow, and will keep an eye out for you meandering in Hyndland and Byres Rd in future.
