WHITEFORD - Phyllis Peacefully on Thursday 4th January 2024 within Queens Manor Care Home, Edinburgh, Phyllis Whiteford, aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert, much loved mum to Jill and Liz, devoted gran, great-gran, aunt and friend who was loved by many and will be sorely missed. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday 24th January at 10am in Greyfriars Church Lanark. A short service of committal will then be held within Lanark Cemetery before refreshments for those wishing to attend at New Lanark Mill Hotel. Liz, Jill and the family would like to thank all those who have been in touch with messages of sympathy for their support at this time.
