ALLAN - Charles Maitland "Charlie" (Methlick, Aberdeenshire) Sportsman, writer, farmer, entertainer and former Herald columnist, Charlie died peacefully in Ellon on Wednesday, 13th December, 2023, aged 84. Much loved husband to Fiona and inspiring father to Sarah, John, Jay and Susie, granddad to ten grandchildren and four great- grandchildren so far. Funeral service in Methlick Parish Church on Friday, 29th December at 12 noon, to which family and friends are invited. Family flowers only.
