WATSON - Joyce Edna It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Edna Watson, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, who left us on Friday, 24th November at University Hospital Wishaw. Joyce was born into a world that was quickly changing, and she embraced those changes with grace and resilience. She was a woman of strength, kindness, and unwavering faith, who touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth and generosity. Joyce was the loving wife of James Watson, her partner in life and love for many beautiful years. Their bond was a testament to their shared values and mutual respect, and their love story was an inspiration to all who knew them. She was the devoted mother to Clare and Alastair, who were her pride and joy. Joyce's love for her children was boundless, and she instilled in them the values of kindness, compassion, and resilience. Her legacy lives on in them, and in the lives of her cherished grandchildren, Éile, Caragh and Lily to whom she was a doting Nonni. Joyce's passing leaves a void in our hearts, but her spirit lives on in the memories we shared with her. We will remember her for her radiant smile, her infectious laughter, and her unwavering faith in the goodness of people. A service to celebrate Joyce's life will be held on Wednesday 13th December at 1.30pm in Holytown Crematorium. We will miss Joyce dearly, but we take comfort in knowing that she is at peace and watching over us. Her love, wisdom, and kindness will forever be etched in our hearts.
