COONEY - Una Elizabeth (Strachan) Peacefully at Mugdock Care Home, Bearsden, on Friday 13th October, 2023, aged 83 years. Beloved wife of Peter Cooney, dear Mother to Neil and Ian. Mother to Laura and Amanda, Grandmother to Arabella, Nyla, and Chloe Elizabeth. Dearly loved and missed by the Cooney and Strachan families, and many close friends. Una was selfless and caring, and an inspirational teacher to children in Scotland and further afield throughout her life. Her gentle nature brought warmth to so many. A service will be held at Clydebank Crematorium on Wednesday 1st November at 11.30am.
