SOMERVILLE - Douglas William (Inverness) It is with extreme sadness that we announce the death of Douglas William Somerville, aged 71, retired Surgeon Commander RN and Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, on 21st September 2023 at home in Inverness surrounded by his family who adored and respected him. Husband to Jeananne, Dad to Iona, Kirsten and Catriona, Father-in-law to John, John and Fraser, Grandpa to 5 grandchildren, Brother to Russell, Sheena and Gordon. Son of the late May and Ian Somerville of St Andrews. Funeral service on Thursday 5th October at 12.30pm in the Funeral Home of John Fraser & Son, Chapel Street, Inverness, all welcome to attend; thereafter cremation private. No flowers.
