HORSPOOL - Dr George Borland D.Univ, B.Arch (Strath), FRIAS, Chartered Architect Died on Sunday 18th June 2023 at Hairmyres Hospital, East Kilbride. George died peacefully at the age of 90 with his family at his bedside. He is survived by his wife Charlotte, son John and daughter Mags, all of whom will miss him dearly. He was a proud grandfather to George and Martha whom he adored, and who will both greatly miss their fun and knowledgeable grandpa. A private family cremation took place at South Lanarkshire Crematorium followed by a Celebration of his Life at Crossbasket Castle, on Friday 7th July 2023. The family would ask that any donations in memory of George be given to a charity of one's choice.
