MacLEOD - Iain Alasdair Iain, retired Professor of Structural Engineering at Strathclyde University died peacefully on 5.6.23 after a tragic accident. He was much loved husband to Barbara, father to Alastair and Mairi, brother to the late Iseabail Macleod, and grandfather to 5 grandchildren. He was Past President of the Institution of Engineers in Scotland; Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers; Member of Glasgow JMCS and the Scottish Mountaineering Club and Clyde Cruising Club. Funeral at Glasgow Crematorium, Tresta Road, at 11.15am on Friday 28th July, followed by a celebration of life in Cairns Church Hall, Milngavie where refreshments will be provided.
