Reverend Ian Samuel MBE BD Currie

CURRIE - Reverend Ian Samuel MBE BD Ian died on 19th June after prolonged illnesses. Loved by his wife Jennifer, daughter Meredith, son John and their families. Minister to Blairhill Dundyvan, Coatbridge, St John's, then Oakshaw Trinity, Paisley and United Church of Bute. Ian was Director of the Wynd Centre and Chair of Victim Support Scotland. A Funeral Service will take place within Oakshaw Trinity Church on 10th July at 10.30am. Committal will follow at Woodside Crematorium. Donations, if desired, to The Wynd Centre would be appreciated.

I'm very sorry to hear this news. I knew him through church and Boy's Brigade and he was always so enthusiastic about every aspect of church life. He also married us in St John's many moons ago. Happy memories. Ros Montgomerie.
