TAYLOR - Right Reverend Maurice Peacefully at Dundonald House Nursing Home, Dundonald, Ayrshire on 14th June 2023, Right Reverend Maurice Taylor, S.T.D., Bishop Emeritus of Galloway, son of the late Maurice and Lucy (McLaughlin) Taylor, dearly loved brother and uncle. Fortified by the Rites of Holy Mother Church, may he rest in peace. Reception of Bishop Taylor's mortal remains with Vigil for the Deceased in St Margaret's Cathedral, Ayr, at 6pm on Tuesday 20th June. The Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11.30am on Wednesday 21st June in St Margaret's Cathedral, Ayr, followed by burial at Ayr Cemetery at 1.30pm.
