McKee of Cranworth Street, Glasgow, passed away suddenly and peacefully at home as the result of an acute heart attack, 10th March. He was born to Catherine and Thomas McKee, Motherwell Maternity on 23rd October 1969. Graham attended Hutchesons' Grammar School, The Glasgow College of Technology with a BA in Accountancy and The University of Strathclyde with a Master of Science in Finance. Whilst at school Graham discovered a talent for rugby, the sport he grew to love. Whether on the field of play or training ground, Graham's quick wit made him popular with teammates. Within the rugby fraternity Graham came to be known by all as "Jabba", a nickname which stayed with him throughout his adult life. Rugby resume: Hutchesons' Grammar School, Hutcheson Grammar School FP, GHK, Glasgow Schools, Glasgow U21, Scottish Schools, Scotland U18, U19, U21 (Captain) & Scottish Students (Captain). Following graduation, Graham embarked in a successful career as a Stockbroker, his first break came from Glasgow stockbroker Stirling Hendry where he flourished and made lifelong friends. When offered of a position in London with Investec, Graham relocated where he became the in-demand broker for private clients. After a successful decade working in The City, Graham took the decision to move back home to Glasgow joining the family business as a Business Development Manager and medical adaptation specification surveyor. Graham made short work of adapting himself to the care industry. At Adaptocare, he discovered the satisfaction of helping the infirm, the elderly and those with special needs. Graham had the natural ability to make clients feel at ease with him and would often share a few jokes, loving to make people smile. Graham is survived by his parents Tom and Cathy, his brother Stuart and his much-loved nieces Nanticha and Isla McKee. Outwith his immediate family, Graham will be sadly missed by his many friends, extended family and colleagues. Graham was a truly unique individual, an extrovert who relished company. A selfless, charitable gentleman who frequently extended his generosity to strangers. When close friends and family were in distress, Graham made it his mission to support them as best he could.
