BECK - James Dover 'Jimmy' of Longdale, Tebay Died peacefully at Heron Hill Care Home, Kendal, in the care of their wonderful staff on Tuesday 11th October 2022, aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Mary (nee Bryson), devoted and much-loved Dad of Elizabeth, Catherine, Jennifer and Margaret. Respected father-in-law to Sean, Ian, and Stephen. Very special and much-loved Grandad to Madeleine, Callum, Emily, Jack and Harvey and a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, neighbour and good friend to many. Funeral Service and interment at All Saints' Church, Orton on Tuesday 25th October at 11am. If desired donations in memory of Jimmy may be made to Dementia UK and left at the service or sent c/o Walkers Funeral Directors, Chapel Street, Appleby-in-Westmorland, CA16 6QR.
