McFARLANE - James (Jim) Peacefully at home on 23rd September 2022, James B McFarlane, aged 85 years, retired engineer and co-founder of MacGas with his brother Duncan. Beloved husband of Noreen, Dad of Nancy, Jim and Oona, and adored 'Grumpa' of Elias, Leotie, Jake, Carly, Dylan, Alex, Calum and the late Casper. A dear brother, relation and a good friend to many. Private family burial, followed by a service of celebration at Balfunning (G63 0NF) on Saturday 1st October at 11am. All are welcome to attend. Family flowers only please. Donations for Macmillan Cancer Support or Dignity in Dying Scotland are welcomed in Jim's memory online or at the service.
