DOWIE - Ian Peacefully at The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, on 11th July 2022, Ian Bruce Dowie, aged 87 years, formerly of the thread manufacturers, J & P Coats. Beloved husband of Avril, loving father of Elaine and Colin, a much loved uncle and family member, and a dear friend to many. Funeral service, to which all are invited, will take place at The Linn Crematorium (St Mungo Chapel), G45 9SP, on Friday, 29th July at 2pm. Family flowers only please. The family would like to thank Ward 52 at The Langlands Building for all their dedicated care and support for Ian.
