WILSON - Francis Robert Laird (Frank) Peacefully at home on 11th July, 2022, aged 88 years, late of Munnoch Farm. Beloved husband of Jane (nee Barr), much loved Dad of Mary and Jane, father-in-law of Drew and John. Proud Papa of Joanna & Jon, Jennifer & Josh, Holly and Andrew, and great-grandchildren Jack, Harper and Jase. Will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral Service at St. Margaret's Parish Church, Dalry on Monday, 25th July at 10.30am and thereafter at Ardrossan Cemetery at 11.30am. Family flowers only please, any donations in lieu to the District Nurses Fund, Ayrshire Hospice and Marie Curie.

I first met 'Young Frank' in the late 1950s when my Father (then starting out as an Agricultural Contractor) was given a lot of work by 'Auld Frank'. I have many happy memories of being welcomed at the Munnoch over the years by the Wilson family.
The farming community has lost a true Gentleman, who was also a gentle man.
My sincere condolences to Jane and the family.
