GUTHRIE - Roger Peacefully at The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow on Saturday 2nd July 2022. Roger, much loved husband of Rachel and very proud father of Eilidh and Alice. A towering figure in the conservation of buildings in Glasgow, who devoted himself to preserving the city's most significant architecture. Roger enjoyed working until his retirement in the Archives at the Mitchell Library, Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at Glasgow Crematorium, Maryhill on Friday 15th July at 12 noon.

As a friend of Rodger and fellow member of the famous 1st Glasgow ‘B’ Troop Scouts, of many years ago I am sorry to learn of Rodger’s passing. I regret not being able to be with you personally but I wish to extend my sincere condolences to all concerned. I remember him as a very nice person.
