PEAT - Scott F. Peacefully at home, after a long illness, on Monday 14th February 2022, Scott, aged 68 years. Daughter of the late John and Scott, dear sister of Jim and Rosemary and a much loved aunt. Private service followed by a service of committal at Lesmahagow Cemetery on Monday 28th February at 2pm.

I was so sorry to learn the sad news about Scott. She was a good friend all through our Academy years. We were all in awe of her - when we struggled in class, everything was so effortless for her! Such a brilliant mind yet so quiet and unassuming. At university she confided in me that although she was successful academically she was happiest on the farm. I also have fond memories of her visit to Geneva in 1982, when we shared a few laughs about the differences between French French and Swiss French!
