Duncan Rice was a very special individual - a memorable Aberdeen Grammar School FP, a great University of Aberdeen Vice-Chancellor and a hard act to follow.
Our thoughts are with Susan and the family at this sad time.
Fondly remembered.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of cousin Duncan. We have fond memories of New York and NYU. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy.

The moon doth with delight
Look round her when the heavens are bare;
Waters on a starry night
Are beautiful and fair;
The sunshine is a glorious birth;
But yet I know, where'er I go,
That there hath past away a glory from the earth (Wordsworth)
