McLAUGHLIN - William Joseph (Bill) Of Arran and Glasgow Bill passed away peacefully at Crosshouse Hospital, Kilmarnock on Saturday 5th February 2022. For his final two days, he was surrounded by family and friends whom he regaled with his customary storytelling, recitations and good humour. Much loved husband of Aileen, father of Fiona, Angus and Donald, father-in-law to Ricky, Gillian and Lyz, very proud grandfather of ten and adoring great-grandfather of three. Funeral Mass to be held at Holy Cross Church, Brodick at 11am on Tuesday 15th February by invitation only, followed by Memorial Service at Whiting Bay Church at 12 noon and thereafter to Kilbride Cemetery, Lamlash. A bus will be laid on which will meet the 9.45 ferry and return to the 4.40. Please let us know if you plan to attend: auntifee@aol.com

Sincere condolences to Aileen and all the family on the death of Bill, a most engaging gentleman whom I had the honour to meet regularly when Aileen taught and Angus and Donald were pupils at St Aloysius' College more years ago than I care to remember.
