Dearest Sarah Tom And family, it is with deepest sympathy that we express our condolences.
We shared many wonderful visits with your father and treasure those memories.
My favourite memory of your Dad is when he took me aside on the morning of your wedding day and asked me to take you out for coffee to help distract you and keep you calm. I thought then what an amazing Dad he must be, ever watchful of his beautiful daughter and wanting to keep her safe. I truly don’t remember exactly what he said. What I do remember is how it made me feel and think about him. A truly loving and caring father. He was so concerned about you and wanted your day to be perfect.
Mark will forever remember the infamous ‘golfing incident’ and how stoic your Dad remained throughout the trauma of that day, even sipping his beer through a straw as he did not want to miss the ‘19th hole’!
Everyone here in the Young family sends their love.
