FOOTE - John McInnes Peacefully at Kilbryde Hospice on 19th December 2021, aged 76. Beloved husband of Evelyn, loving father of Karen, Colin and Martin, devoted Grandpa to Hannah, Kallum, Sarah and Tom, cherished brother to Tom, Sheena and the late Janette and Ronald, and valued friend to many. Scientist, Civil Servant, Christian and active supporter of numerous organisations, John was a man of kindness, generosity, patience and intelligence, and will be greatly missed. Private family cremation. All are welcome at a service of Thanksgiving for John's life which will take place at Maxwell Mearns Castle Parish Church, Newton Mearns on Thursday 6th January at 11am (Covid restrictions permitting). No flowers please. Donations if desired to Kilbryde Hospice. "Few hearts like his, with virtue warm'd. Few heads with knowledge so inform'd."
