Margaret Ann Tindal (nee Wallace) Russell

RUSSELL - Margaret Ann Tindal (nee Wallace) Peacefully at the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice on Sunday, 19th December 2021. Ann, aged 81, devoted wife of the late Robin Russell, loving mother of the late Bruce Russell and the late Kara Inglis and beloved grandmother of Zoe Inglis. Sadly, missed by family and friends. Special thanks to QEUH palliative care team and the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice. Funeral service will be held at Glasgow Crematorium, 19 Tresta Road, G23 5AA on Wednesday, 5th January 2022 at 10.30am. All welcomed.

My wife, Sarah, and I were much saddened to read of Ann’s passing. She is remembered as a charming, gracious and generous hostess. Her husband, Robin and I were students together. He came from Wishaw. My wife and I came from Carluke. Robin went on to a renowned academic career while I entered successful but unclaimed medical practice. Over the years we tried to keep in touch after our move to Canada. An era is coming to a close. Dr. Robert H. Wood, North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada.
