CURTIS - Brian MBE Manchester/Edinburgh Peacefully at home in Edinburgh, on Thursday 11th November 2021, Brian, husband to the late Ann, father of Tim, Hazel and Steve; and partner to Doreen. Brian worked for British Telecom, he was a Local Preacher for the Methodist Church, founding chairman of Cycling Scotland, CTC Councillor for Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Rest of the World; and CTC tour leader. A private graveside service will be held for Brian's family at Binning Memorial Wood on Friday 26th November with an open thanksgiving celebration afterwards at City of Edinburgh Methodist Church, 25 Nicolson Square, EH8 9BX at 3pm. The service will be available online via the CEMC YouTube channel www.youtube.com/c/CityofEdinburghMethodistChurchOnlineWorship Brian was dearly loved and will be very much missed by his family, who have been pleased to hear from so many people about the positive impact that he had on their lives through preaching and cycling.
