LYNN - Alistair (Argyll and Aberdeen) Alistair G. Lynn CVO CBE QPM, dearly loved and loving husband of the late Chrissie (nee MacNaughton) and sometime Chief Constable of The Scottish North-Eastern Counties Constabulary and Grampian Police, died peacefully on 31st October 2021, aged 95 years, in the warm, loving and dedicated care of staff at Victoria Grange, Dyce. Dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Now resting at the premises of Eric P. Massie, Funeral Directors, 41 High Street, Inverurie. A Church Service to celebrate Alistair's life will be held in Dyce Parish Church, Victoria Street, Dyce at 11am on Friday 12th November 2021, followed by a short committal service at Baldarroch Crematorium, Crathes, Aberdeenshire at 2.30pm on the same day. Family and friends are invited to attend either or both parts of Alistair's funeral. No flowers, please, but wear a Remembrance Day poppy if you can. Alistair's ashes will be interred beside Chrissie at Oban on a later date.
