QUEEN - Marie It is with great sadness that the family of Marie Queen announces that Marie departed this life suddenly at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital, Glasgow, on 16th October 2021. Adored wife of Andrew, much loved mother of Anna, Charlotte and Laura, loving sister of Anne, Tony, Janice and the late Helen, Karen and Jeff, dear daughter of the late Bunty and Tony Queen and a caring Aunt to many. Marie will be greatly missed by all. A Funeral Mass to which all family and friends are invited will be held in The Church of Immaculate Conception, 2049 Maryhill Road, at 10am on Friday 5th November followed by cremation at Glasgow Crematorium, Maryhill. Please wear your brightest colours for Marie if you are attending. No flowers please. Donations in lieu can be made to https://tributefunds.macmillan.org.uk/In-Memory/Marie-queen. Due to Covid track and trace requirements, those also attending the Crematorium should supply name and telephone number in advance to annew1348@gmail.com.
