I'm so sorry to hear about Chris passing away. Such a shock and my thoughts are with all his family, and in particular Maisie, who he spoke of so often at work with such love and affection.
I worked with Chris at Scottish Widows. We had a shared sense of fun and mischief and had many laughs together. He really brightened up our days at work. So full of energy and such an intense guy!
I'll always laugh when I remember a golf day at St Andrews when Chris had sabotaged my golf bag. I'd had my golf bag at work and he'd been 'at it' and when I went to get a tee out of my bag, on the illustrious course, I pulled out a computer keyboard and a jar of pickled onions.
So many good times. Such a sad loss. Rest easy, bud.

Truly saddened to hear of Chris’s untimely passing.

I first met Chris back in 2003 when he was a customer at my coffee shop in Edinburgh city centre. We got chatting and he agreed to play five a-sides on a Thursday evening for my little coffee shop side against the local Bloomberg office team. An absolutely AMAZING footballer (a bit shouty, mind) but always humble, always lovely and with a massive intellect. Chris made a huge impact on me and I will never forget him.

I can’t believe I’m never going to bump into Chris again. I would like to give my thoughts to family, friends and others who had the privilege of playing 5’s with Chris.

Rest in peace mate and I hope you’re tracking back up there!

Love, Kev x
