FERGUSSON - Ann Doreen Beloved Wife of James and Mum to Charles, sister to Graeme. Passed away peacefully at Kilbryde Hospice on 1st October 2021, aged 71 years. Funeral Service to which all friends are invited, is at the Linn Crematorium, St Mungo Chapel on 12th October at 2pm. Family flowers only.

Dear Jim
Very sad to hear the news about Doreen. I have thought about her a lot since I heard .... remembering working together at the old and new William Patrick after I started there in 1984. I always admired Doreen's calm and assured approach to her work. Her knowledge of books, reading and how to serve the library customers was reassuring to me as a complete beginner.
I was delighted to see you both at my retirement do at the end of 2019 just before the whole world went mad! I am embarrassed to say I have lost your contact details since then so I was grateful for this opportunity to send a message, especially as I will be unable to attend the funeral today.
