WIGHTMAN - John Watt (Edinburgh) Peacefully at The Elms Care Home on Sunday 19th September 2021 with family present, John Watt Wightman CVO CBE WS, beloved husband of Isla, father of Rona, Janet and Robbie and proud grandfather of five. Service at North Berwick Cemetery at 11.30am on Friday 8th October. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Alzheimer Scotland.

My heart and prayers go out to Isla and the family. JWW was an amazing man and lawyer. I was his secretary from 1975-1982. On my visits from the USA he would invite me to join him and Isla for lunch at his club. JWW was a kind and thoughtful man.
