CHALMERS - John The Chalmers Family sadly announce the sudden passing of Captain John Chalmers who died peacefully on Friday 17th September 2021, aged 81 years in Inverclyde Royal Hospital. John was a great, generous, and thoughtful person, who will be greatly missed by all the family, friends, and neighbours. Funeral Service will take place at Greenock Crematorium, 1 South Street, PA16 8UG, on Thursday 30th September at 3pm, to which friends are respectfully invited. No flowers please but donations can be made to Imperial Cancer Research Fund, Royal National Lifeboat Institution, Largs, or Save the Children Fund.
