TAYLOR - George Alister Peacefully in Cowal Community Hospital on Friday, 17th September, 2021, George Alister (Retired Marine Engineer BSc). George was a member and past Chairman of The Institute of Marine Engineers and a Fellow of IESIS. Beloved husband of Jane, dear brother to Effie and Alan, uncle, great-uncle and godfather. Will be sadly missed by all. The Funeral Service will be held in Kyles Church on Monday, 4th October at 11.30am, and thereafter to Millhouse Cemetery, to which all are respectfully invited.

This is a sad time. The Engineering community has lost a true and invaluable member and friend. My deepest sympathies to his family and his merchant navy colleagues. All will miss him deeply.
