BRUCE - David David Bruce passed away at the age of 91, in Glasgow on 6th September 2021. Preceded by his first wife Eleanor and second wife Catherine. Loving father of Fionna, Gavin and Calum and proud grandfather of Colin, Laura, Amy, Chloe, Ryan and Nathan. David will be fondly remembered by his family and friends for his love of the outdoors and his garden. A quiet, conscientious and steadfast man, he will be dearly missed. Funeral service at Clydebank Crematorium, North Dalnottar on Friday 17th September at 1.30pm.

So sorry to read the announcement in The Herald today. I well recall our days in Eagle Crescent when we got to know David and Eleanor and the family; then when I remarried and moved to Beith Catherine kindly invited Jim and me for a farewell tea. All delightful people, and my family (Niall, Susan and Rosalind) will be sad to have your news. My kindest regards to you all.
