TRANTOR - Grahame Scott McKenzie Suddenly but peacefully at home in Troon on 1st September 2021. Husband of the late Elizabeth. Brother of Kathleen, Kenneth and Murray. Much loved step-father of Ewan. Grandpa to Calum, Beth, Rosa and Max. A celebration of his life will take place on Wednesday 15th September 2021 at 2pm at Masonhill Crematorium, Ayr. All welcome. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, can be made to any of Grahame's regular charities : British Red Cross, Oxfam, Imp Cancer Research, Save the Children, VSO, Cancer Research UK or RNLI.

I'm very sad to hear of this. I was a close friend of Grahame's at Glasgow University and afterwards. We had many very good times together with friends like George Keith and Duncan Craig. I have vivid memories of our camping trips to Sutherland. I emigrated to Canada in 1979 and Grahame managed to visit us here after Liz died. Our friendship was still alive and well. He was a fine man. My condolences to the family.
