WILSON - Thomas Alasdair Garrick It is with sadness that the family of Alasdair "TAG" Wilson announce his death on 27th August 2021. He passed away peacefully at Ayrshire Hospice after a short illness. Beloved husband of the late Sheena Wilson. Treasured father, grandfather, brother and friend. The funeral service will take place on Friday 10th September at 2pm at Masonhill Crematorium, Ayr. Family flowers only but donations if desired to Ayrshire Hospice.

Such sadness. Alastair was such a good kind man . Always a pleasure to be in his company. I shared many an Angling trip to Sutherland with a group of friends where he and I particularly shared quiet moments in recent years as we dealt with our respective wives dementia. None of us had any clue in our last trip in May 2021 that he would become so unwell a few days later.
My most vivid memory is the obvious joy on a Loch in Sutherland.
