MACLEAN - Dr Gillian (nee Dunbar) Fortified by the rites of the Holy Church. Passed away in the care and company of friends and family on 27th August 2021. Much loved wife, sister, mum and granny. Will be greatly missed by all. Her body will be received into Christ the King Parish Church, on Friday 10th September at 6pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday 11th September at 10am. Thereafter to Daldowie Crematorium at 12 noon. Family flowers only please.

Dear Alex. Thanks for your message. Gillian was a great woman and GP here in Glasgow, loved by many in our community witnessed by the many hundreds who attended her funeral Mass. I have had the pleasure of visiting your adopted home over in Victoria on two occasions Joining the Victoria Gaelic Choir in singing in my native tongue. I hope to visit again if my health allows, when all the covid restrictions are over.

Very sad to hear about Gillian and for all your family. We sat next to each other in "labs" in our early stressful University days.
