GALLOWAY - John (Iain) Peacefully, after an illness bravely borne, John Galloway, always known as Iain, in the tender care of Roxburgh House, Dundee on Tuesday 17th August 2021, aged 85. Born in Dumbarton, Iain lived for many years in Stirling and St Andrews and worked as a solicitor in Dundee. Beloved husband to the late Jean, loving brother of Jannette. Sadly missed father of Fiona, Ronnie, the late Kenneth, the late Norma, and devoted Papa to Gilly, Selma, Walter and Alec, stepfather to Walter and Ariane, father-in-law to Duncan and friend to many. Iain has kindly donated his body to the University of St Andrews. A celebration of Iain's life will be held at Holy Trinity Church, St Andrews on Sunday 12th September, 2021 at 2pm.
