SMITH - Jean formerly Robertson, née Crosbie Died in Parklands Care Home, Alloa on 12th August 2021 aged 98. Widow of Norrie Robertson and John Smith; lived in Howwood, Stirling and Callander; served in the ATS 1941 - 1945, worked for Stirling Council and taught at Glasgow Caledonian University. A person of extraordinary warmth, generosity, courage and resilience, she was loved and admired by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, the wider family in the UK and overseas and all her friends. She was endlessly interested in meeting people and welcoming them to her home. Jean donated her body to medical research. An event to remember her life will be held on Saturday 28th August at 2.30pm in The Golden Lion Hotel, Stirling.
