Iris (nee Graham) Hassan

HASSAN - Iris (nee Graham) Formerly of Barrhead, Glasgow. Passed away peacefully with family by her side on 7th August, 2021, aged 81 years, at Princess Alexandra Retirement Village, Ahuriri, Napier. Dearly beloved wife of the late Malcolm Hassan. Loving mother of Elaine Manley, Susan Manning and son Malcolm Hassan. Cherished gran to four beautiful grandchildren, Cameron, Charlotte, Ruby and Mitchell. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, 19th August at 10.30am (NZT), St Columba's Presbyterian Church, Taradale, Napier, New Zealand. Followed by burial at Western Hills Cemetery, Park Island, Napier.

I knew Iris through our connection with the Guide Association and have such happy memories of challenge and fun when camping with the guides. Iris put all her effort onto caring for everyone and making guiding a good experience. She was a brilliant outdoor cook on a wood fire and we were a very well fed group when she was QM.
