HURLEY - Fr Denis Augustine (Fr Gus) Peacefully at his family home in Enniskeane, West Cork, Ireland, on 3rd August 2021. Rev. Fr Denis Augustine Hurley, Retired Parish Priest at Holy Family & St Ninian's, Kirkintilloch, in the presence of his family. Beloved son of the late William and Hanora, dear Brother to Declan, Brother-in-law to Philomena and a dearly loved Uncle to John, Ger, Richard, Declan, Gus, Helen, Phil, Rosalie and Gill and a much loved Great-Uncle, Friend and Parish Priest. Fortified by rites of Holy Church. Requiescat in Pace. Reception and Vigil at Holy Family & St Ninian's R.C. Church, Kirkintilloch, on Thursday 12th August at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday 13th August at 11.30am. Funeral thereafter to Cadder Cemetery, Bishopbriggs, to which all family, friends and parishioners are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, a collection will be taken after his Funeral Mass in aid of SCIAF and Cancer Research.
