GORMAN - William Peacefully at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Saturday 24th July 2021, William (Keir) Gorman, beloved Husband of the late Margaret, adored Dad, Grandad and Uncle. Lately of Clydebank; Retired Captain of 6th/12th Glasgow Boys' Brigade companies and Partick District Convener.

Just discovered the intimation of the death of your father Keir Gorman. He was an absolutely wonderful and amazing man and a great friend of my Dad, Robert Paul. After my Dad’s passing he was a regular visitor of my mum, Jessie and entertained us with stories of his days with the Boys Brigade and his time skating at Crossmyloof ice rink. I remember he even spoke about having another go at skating and at that point was in his eighties!
What a man!
He was so proud of his girls and you must miss him terribly. I am sorry I did not know about his passing and did not attend his funeral. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
