BERRY - Peter John Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on 30th June 2021, aged 87. Beloved husband of the late Isobel (nee McLetchie) and devoted and much loved father of Jonathan, Andrew, Jane and Fiona, and grandfather of Claire and Lucy. A true gentleman. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Sadly, due to current restrictions, the funeral service is by invitation only. Peter will leave on his final journey from his home in Bearsden on Wednesday 14th July 2021 at approximately 2pm. Family flowers only please. I met Peter (and Isobel) in 1968, me a green graduate. Peter was my boss in Barr and Stroud for around 15 years. A very, very clever man, patents in his name about every month.!
The word " gentleman" applies to Peter all day long. We both eventually moved from Hyndland - Isobel's parties😂 - to Bearsden and Carol and I would visit Mosshead - all the way from Beech Ave- to greet new Berry arrivals.
I would bump into Peter in later years in Tesco - and Claire as well.
Sorry to hear of your loss. Peter was an outstanding man.
