HOUSTON - Robert (Bert) (Dumfries) On 21st June 2021, peacefully at Dumfries Infirmary, Robert Houston (Bert), Freelance Journalist. Greatly loved and sadly missed by all his family. Due to current circumstances the funeral will be private. The cortege will leave William Jardine Chapel of Rest at approximately 11.30am on Monday 5th July, going via Palmerston Football Ground, down Glasgow Street, along Buccleuch Street, then out Lockerbie Road, on to a private service. Anyone wishing to pay their respects, please adhere to social distancing guidelines.
