HILL - Margaret Ferguson With profound sadness and in loving memory, we announce that Margaret Ferguson Hill aged 83 of Sandbank, Dunoon sadly passed away peacefully on Monday 7th June 2021. Beloved wife of Robin Hill and much loved mother of Gordon, Alison and John; grandmother of Lyle, Sam, Abi, Mia, Brandon, Eilidh, Alanna, Matthew and Emma; stepmother of Eleanor, Marion and Kenneth; sister of Kyle and Lenora and aunt of Graham and Martin. Margaret was born in Succoth, Strachur in Argyllshire on 15th July 1937. Margaret began her career as a Registered General Nurse in 1958, specialised in hospice care and was very proud of her latter role as a Macmillan Nurse for Argyll and Bute. Margaret deeply loved her family and will be remembered for her kindness, her compassion and her sense of humour. The funeral service will be held at Greenock Crematorium on Friday 2nd July at 12 noon. Unfortunately due to COVID restrictions, the maximum of 20 people has been reached with close family members. There will however be a funeral reception held at the Inverkip Hotel, Greenock from 1pm and you are most welcome to attend.
