CAIRNS-SMITH - Ursula Passed peacefully in her own home in Glasgow, on Saturday 22nd May 2021, aged 93 years. Late of the University of Glasgow where she lectured in German, she began a creative life after retirement enjoying learning how to develop as an artist. Deeply loved by daughter Fiorna, her late son John, grandsons Lawrence, the late Alisdair, Lachlan and Andrew, granddaughter Ella and nine great-grandchildren. Family, friends and colleagues meant so much to Ursula, they provided such magnificent support and companionship to her in her final days. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A private cremation has already taken place. Thanks are offered to the doctors and district nurses of Northcote Surgery for their excellent care and to Sim & Son for their funeral services. There will be a gathering in celebration of Ursula's life at a later date.
