BELL - Reverend Douglas William Unexpectedly at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley, on 5th May 2021, Reverend Douglas William Bell, in his 94th year, of Cairnbaan Lea, Cairnbaan, By Lochgilphead. Retired Church of Scotland Minister previously of Alexandria North Parish Church, Balloch and locum at North Knapdale Church and former partner at Ramsay, Menzies and Wilson, Glasgow. Beloved and loving husband of Helen Strachan, dearly loved father of Rachel and Mark and much respected father-in-law of Iain. Adored Grandpa of Duncan, Findlay and Christopher. A dear neighbour, great friend and mentor to many in the community. A private family funeral will take place from Tayvallich Church on 31st May 2021, thereafter to Carsaig Cemetery, Tayvallich. For those wishing to pay their respects, the funeral cortege will leave from Tayvallich Parish Church approximately 12.30/12.45pm on route to Carsaig Cemetery.
