Dan, or Mr Divers, as I would have called you. I was SO pleased to see your comments about mum. You knew her well and she used to talk fondly about you and your brothers coming round to Garioch Drive to listen to records. She was some kid !

Dear All

So sorry to hear about Terri's death. As you can imagine, I have the fondest memories of her over many years, two of which I will mention briefly. The first, from 1975, is of her organising a troup of College pupils to set tables in a restaurant down the Borgo Pio in Rome in which the waiters were completely overwhelmed by the numbers of people (us included) they were having to serve. The second, which is more personal, is of the visit she made to my late mother Kitty just a few days before she died, when Fr James Hanvey SJ offered Mass in the house. I know that her visit meant a lot to Kitty and I think Terri was glad that she had made it too. Our families went back quite a bit! It is normal in such circumstances to say or write "May she rest in peace" but i can't imagine Terri putting her feet up, even in heaven. Dan
