WHITE - John MA(Hons) MEd Peacefully at Wishaw University Hospital, on 10th April 2021, John, aged 99 years. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Burns), father of Mary-Jo, Frank and Iain. Inspirational Schoolmaster to many and retired Depute Rector of Our Lady's High School, Motherwell. Funeral at St Gerard's R.C. Church, Bellshill, on 23rd April 2021, at 11.30am. Receive his soul and commend him to God the most high.

Sign in to add a tributeHarry and I are so sorry to hear of John's passing. I often would inquire if he was ok but no one knew. He was a fine man and he's up there with all the Scots and Mommy singing and having a good time. I think of the good times we had when he came to visit. On a sad note Frankie Scott passed away last week from Cancer. I myself am battling lung, liver and brain Cancer .Please pray for me also. God bless you all. Therese and HarryXX
Mr White taught me in St. Patrick's High School, Coatbridge. He was a gentleman and a great teache for whom I had the greatest respect.
