My sisters and I had the honor and privilege of calling Jean Jeffrey McIntosh "aunt" as one of my mother's best friends and nursing colleague. Visits with Auntie Jean were always inspirational and memorable. She is a person who walked among us with the highest morals and the kindest, low key demeanor of anyone I have known. She and my mother maintained life long contact and passed it to the next generation. We will miss her especially at Easter which we considered her birthday. Which is entirely appropriate as she is surely in heaven with our risen Lord and Savior.

We were very sorry to hear of Jeans passing, she was a very dear friend of my late mother (Frances Bolster/Gilliland ). We have many happy memories of time spent with Jean and Ian both during their visits to Ireland and out visits to them in Scotland . Jean was gentle ,kind and an absolute lady ,may she rest in peace Con Aileen MCCarthy and family .
